It was originally a vicarage built on a forest site, granted by the Crown, and paid for by John Morant, whose family once owned 425 acres around Brockenhurst, in the latter half of the 18th Century. Forest Park became a hotel in 1902, and apart from being used as a military hospital during World War I, has remained as a New Forest hotel to this day. |
